Classroom Management

So you’ve got your lesson plan down. Great! That’s one big piece of making sure you’re class runs smoothly. But as the old military maxim goes, “No plan survives contact with the enemy.”

To be clear, of course your students aren’t your enemy. But your students (especially your young students) are going to mess up your plans, and part of your job is dealing with that. And, as Benjamin Franklin once said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

The cure, here, is effective classroom management, and that’s what this section is all about. How do you keep your students on track and on path so that everyone is reaching their full potential.
