Welcome to the TEFL Teaching Hub!
My name is Mike, and I’ve been a TEFL teacher for over 20 years. I’ve learned a lot in that time, and decided that it was time for me to pay it forward and share it forward with those considering stepping into the world of Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Here, I’m going to talk about a variety of topics related to TEFL teaching. Some of that is going to be more academic. What we’re doing, how we do it, and why we do it that way. There will also be more practical stuff to help newer (and maybe more experienced) teachers with working their way through a classroom.
One of my core philosophies is that I’m always learning; I’m always trying to discover new things as my interests take me, and this website is no different. As such, you’ll have to pardon the dust as I build this website on my own. I’m a teacher and not a web developer, so I’m not terribly familiar with how to build a web page.
As I learn more about it, I’m sure there will be gradual changes to the look and feel of this website as I find my feet. Hopefully, the articles I provide here means you’ll learn something, too.
If you ever have questions about TEFL teaching, constructive criticism or suggestions for the website, you can feel free to get in touch. Otherwise, stay a while and read!
